Can you upgrade RAM with SO-DIMM modules from a different manufacturer (currently have one Micron 16GB module in my Omen 15), assuming all specs are the same?

I see that Crucial lists a compatible SO-DIMM module, and they seem to have some relationship to "Micron Technologies", according to the fine print at the bottom of their web pages.

From what I have been able to research, it sounds like I should be able to use RAM modules from different manufacturers, as long as the specs and form factor are the same.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Yes, you can use RAM from different vendors AS LONG AS they have same specs. But some schools saying to be able to get FULL benefit of dual channel architecture SAME brand is much better.
