Hello! I'm just wondering is there anyway i can upgrade my CPU on my laptop or do I have to get a whole new motherboard all together? also is there a way to add another ram slot into the computer?

You have to buy a whole new System board (if available). The System board which contains

 

(a) Motherboard,

(b) CPU with integrated video,

(c) Dedicated Video card (if applicable),

(d) Operating system (you can't reuse old license).


All above 3 or 4 components are on one piece of hardware called System board. That means you would be able to upgrade to other CPU (if available) but very expensive.

 

If you wish to go ahead, please use a list on page 69 of the  Maintenance and Service Guide on the following link
