Pavilion 15 ck063tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The current model I plan to buy it the Pavilion 15, however it only comes with i5 so I'm wondering whether it can be upgraded to an i7.

Hello cps96,

I regret to inform you that because the Intel® Core™ i5-8250U uses a FC-BGA1356 socket, any CPU upgrade is physically impossible.

This is a ball grid array socket which means the CPU is soldered on.

Hope this helps,

Eddy
