I have a laptop here that that I have been requested to upgrade the RAM, so I naturally used the HP site to scan and detect the product. Unfortunately the print on the underside of the device is unreadable and when I use the Serial Number, I am told that the process for this laptop needs me to enter the Product Number as well. I have used 2 CMD commands, one produces nothing the other the Windows key and an App I downloaded from MS Store which installed, apparently, but I can't find to run !!! HPs system information App returns a Product Number but it doesn't work on their site, so all I have is the basic information that I've found on the inside of the bottom case, which is HP 250 G9.
If I use MrMemory.co.uk to scan the laptop, it tells me it is a HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC, but it fails to find any RAM compatible, but I think this is due to a typo on their site. If I search for HP NOTEBOOK 250 G9 it tells me the maximum RAM is 32Gb.
If I Google HP 250 G9 MEMORY UPGRADE then memorystock.com tells me it will take 64Gb.
Kinsgstonmemoryshop.co.uk tells me there is only 1 RAM slot and the most it will take is 8Gb ... well it already has 8 Gb in BOTH slots !!!
Does anyone know which of these, if any, is correct ?!?
