Hi,

 

Can anyone suggest work-around to connect monitor with USB-C port (may be I need an adaptor to connect with monitor and  in-built USB C-port). Looks like existing USB Type C port  not compatible for display

(PS: with HDMI Monitor connection it produces intermittent connect/disconnect Beep sound )

Appreciate any suggestion

It is only for data transfer and charging, which is why connecting a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable doesn’t work.   • Look for a USB to HDMI adapter that uses DisplayLink technology. A good option is the Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter, which can support 1080p or even 4K displays.

🔧 Additional Tip for HDMI Beep Issue

If the HDMI monitor causes connect/disconnect beep sounds:

  • Open Device Manager and navigate to Sound, video and game controllers. Disable “HDMI Audio” under your GPU.
  • Alternatively, go to Control Panel > Sound > Playback Devices, set your speakers as the default device, and disable the monitor output.
