Hello. I want to swap the HDD on this laptop for a SSD, and to do that I've followed the following video for the disassembly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuovxquGRFk
I've removed all screws and lifted the top panel (keyboard and all together, in one piece) on all sides with the help of a credit card. But it won't come off. The panel can lift up to 4-5 cm on the right side, but 2-3 max on the left. Looks like it's stuck to the body somewhere around the R-F keys. I've spent 2 hours trying in all manners to lift it, which seems the easiest part in the linked video, after all those screws (even hidden under rubber feet) were removed, but it won't come off!!!
The model in the video isn't exactly mine, but they look the same esthetically. The only difference is that at 2:20, the guy removes 2 screws at the left and right sides of the battery, whereas on my model those screws just aren't there (the plastic is plain, no hole for it).
I have no idea what else to do, can anyone help me out? The integrated HDD is PAINFULLY SLOW and it definitely makes the i7 useless, and I need to replace it.
