HP ENVY
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a list containing model numbers of HP laptops.  My HP ENVY has no stickers attached, and instructions to go into the BIOS settings to retrieve the model number.

I went into the BIOS settings, and there I found the Product Name, Product No., Serial No., Build ID, but no Model Number.

The list I'm referring to is the list of machines that may have a keylogger installed in them. The model numbers shown in this list aren't formatted anything like the Product No., Ser No. or Build ID.

How do I find the model number of my HP ENVY? The Product No. is XOS43UA#ABA.

Thanks.

@wise_old_owl

Product Name is actually Model but it may list as the series-which is the way models are usually listed in the bulletin anyway.. such as Envy 17 s1xx .

Your Product Number leads to ENVY - 17-s143cl:

Thank you CherylG for your response. I accept your answer and was able to verify it with the serial number in checking warranty status.

But, I have to say that there is nothing straightforward in going from the product name, HP ENVY, as I understand it, to ENVY-17-s143cl as the model number.

Thanks, again, for a timely response.
