I cannot find any documentation for my motherboard, listed above. I am needing to buy a SSD, and I want to make sure its specifications will work with my motherboard.

Hi,
If you look on page 3 of service manual you can see the drives supported. Now, you can replace the 500GB mechanical drive you have at the moment with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD. On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to replace drive.

You might also be able to install a M2 SATA3 SSD. However, before buying drive check if the connector is on the motherboard as sometimes it is missing in products which did not come with M2 drive. Click on Solid State drive in list on left in the videos below to see where slot is:
