HP Smart Tank Plus 559 Wireless All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried three times now by installing and then uninstalling my printer to get it to work by printing just a test print and it will not and i have tried to get it to print from word in office and it wont even print from office on word despite office being a new version just down loaded two days ago. Wot a load of junk this printer is turning out to be . I am using a USB and not wireless and this is where i think its going wrong but i hate wireless. Any help will be appreciated as HP are useless they keep me going around in circles.

Hi @Nman,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

There are several reasons why your HP Smart Tank Plus 559 printer may not be printing. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try.

  • Check the printer connections: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network, and that all cables are securely plugged in.
  • Check ink levels: Check the ink levels in the printer and replace any low or empty cartridges.
  • Check paper tray: Make sure that there is paper in the paper tray and that it is loaded correctly.
  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • Update the printer driver: Check for any updates for the printer driver and install them if available.
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor: This is a free tool provided by HP that can help diagnose and resolve common printing problems. You can download it from the HP website.
  • Reset the printer: If none of the above steps work, try resetting the printer to its factory settings. You can do this by following the instructions in the user manual.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
