I bought a new Spectre, and moved the harddisk from the old to the new computer

But I got this error: Hard Disk - (3F0)

When I run diagnostics, the BIOS cannot find any disk at all. Moving back to old computer shows that the disk still works.

The SSD is a Samsung EVO860 1TB, the old computer was not born with it, but the upgrade ran like a charm last year.
Why can' t the latest Specte run a well known SSD as SAMSUNG, or is there a BIOS lock?

The 860EVO is a B & M key, while the WD SSD shipped with the computer is a M key only. Another M key disk I had, was detected.

The new computer: HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14-ea0000 (1Q879AV)
Model: 2H1U5EA

The old computer HP Spectre x360 - 13-4109no

Model: X0K50EA

The Evo 860 is a SATA M.2 SSD and your model series only is fitted with NVME M.2 SSD by HP from the factory. Usually if the M.2 slot will take an NVME M.2 it will also take a SATA but not always true. So I think the 860 Evo is just incompatible with your laptop.
