Product: HP ENVY Laptop PC 14-eb0000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The screen on my HP 14-eb0000 was recently damaged. I don't know what caused it but I suspect it may have been pressure on the laptop that pushed the foot at the bottom of the display on the plastic bezel into the LCD underneath cracking it. Obviously this seems like a bit of a design oversight to me but now I need to replace my laptop screen. When I go to find the part number in the manuals on HP's site ( https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/product-specs/hp-envy-laptop-pc-14-eb0000/model/2100224174 ), the link is broken and does not pull up the correct pdf, so I am unable to find the right part number to order it. I also know that there are different screen options available for my laptop model and I would like to know if other options are compatible with my laptop in case I cannot find an identical replacement part.

You will need the product number/System SKU  or the serial number of your laptop to search using the HP Partsurfer.

 

Acquiring one of those two will enable you to find the precisely correct screen assembly replacement.  That is the best way to avoid wasting time and  money when ordering the wrong screen. That has happened to many people.

 

While logged into Windows, type msinfo in the search box. Click on the system information app that appears. The ninth line in the list that appears is the product number/System SKU that you will need.

Thank you Erico. I did not know about the partsurfer. Is there a way to order the part M30902-001 directly from HP or will I have to look at less reputable sources such as sellers in China on Ebay or Aliexpress?

 You do not have to resort to Aliexpress of China eBay.

 

You can  use  HP+M30902-001 as the keywords in a search engine (Google or another) to find an online vendor in the US.
