Cant find the correct SSD ribbon

I've been wanting to upgrade my SSD to a larger one so i got a hold of a 512 GB SSD and took it to a computer repair shop, but they said they needed the ribbon connector in order to hook up the SSD. They tried to order one, but it wasnt the correct size so they encouraged me to contact HP and find the part number of the SATA ribbon. I was given the part number which is "L20103-001", but when i go on to the hp spare parts website im told that its not available for order. Is there ANY way for me to get a hold of this part or atleast another part that could also work on my laptop. I've already put down money on the SSD and had my data transferred onto it so it would be an extreme inconvenience if i couldnt find this part. Thank you in advance

You should be able to order thru HP Authorized Service Provider parts  they may ask you bring your machine to them to do the work or try

I reached out to the parts store and the person on the phone told me he didn't have it and none of the people he contacted were able to help with the problem so I'm back to square one. It seems like the part itself isn't available to purchase so could there possibly a substitute for that part that will work just as well
