Capslock blinking continuously

The caps lock of my laptop blinks continuously, and because there may be some matter on my battery, I use my computer without a battery. I don't know if there is a problem with my laptop; sometimes, my computer will crash, and the caps lock will blink. Does this matter just because there isn't a battery, or have some other components of my computer been broken because of the battery matter, or are there any other causes?

The problem is that since laptops no longer have a separate RTC battery to supply power to the BIOS chip, they use the main battery.

That means that eventually your laptop may stop booting up at all.

I suggest replacing the battery with a new one to prevent that from happening.

Only use genuine HP batteries that have the HP part number and the HP logo on them.

Non-genuine (generic), ( i.e HT03XL) batteries are known to sometimes not work as expected because of their non standard programming of the internal BMS (battery management system) chip.

If you read through threads in the forum related to problems after battery replacement you will see many members who have used generic batteries complaining that they are not working as expected.
