Pavilion X2 10-n140nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking for car charger for my HP Pavilion X2 (10-n140nw). I know that HP restricted this device to charge only with genuine power adapter but maybe something has changed last time or HP has a power  charger for cars/boats/etc.?

@da1k

I actually use an inverter which is similar with the following one

   https://www.jaycar.com.au/200w-12vdc-to-230vac-pure-sine-wave-inverter-electrically-isolated/p/MI572...

mine is 350W.. It is a Pure Sine Wave Inverter that why it is a bit expensive. You can buy a normal one for under A$100. I use it for my machines and for other batteries (video cameras, cameras ...). I used to carry notebooks on my car during weekend outings.

Regards.

Hello,

Thanks for suggestion but first of all I will prefer something like ordinary power charger for smarthphone (I plan to use it also on yacht), second I think that my hybrid car would not be happy about power inverter which works all the time, and third it doesn't make a sense to convert 12V to 230V and than back to 5V 🙂

Any other idea?
