So i have a few days left on my care pack and I'm trying to get ready to renew but when i go to the site to renew there seems to be a problem, whenever i go to the billing address and shipping apparently I Cannot type in my email address which makes no sense at all i can fill out the other sections without issues and now i'm scared, also even if the care pack expires is it ok to wait a few months or so to extend the care pack again if i have to save money because at this rate if this keeps up i dont think i'll be able to at all

@RetroK283,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing warranty issues with the HP Notebook and would like to extend the warranty on the PC.

  • You may purchase a Care Pack within the first year of its service life and Post Warranty Plans within 90 days before to 30 days after your base warranty expires.
  • As our "how long does coverage last" section states, you get the most coverage and value if you purchase a Care Pack plan at the same time as your hardware purchase.
  • To be eligible to purchase a Care Pack or a Post Warranty plan, the device must be within our reasonable opinion, in good operating condition and within its service life.
  • You can choose between a Care Pack and a Post-Warranty Plan. Care Packs provide an enhanced level of support and/or an extended period of coverage for your HP hardware and can be purchased within the first year of hardware purchase.
  • Post Warranty plans are meant to provide additional coverage after your base warranty expires. They can be purchased from 90 days before to 30 days after the hardware base warranty expires.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all warranty options.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the warranty options.
