Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop has suddenly wanted to die on itself, and I don't know how to fix it. Certain applications (Discord, Microsoft Edge, paint.net, Roblox, Steam, etc) have started running insanely slowly. My main browser, Firefox, ran fine, as well as the entire laptop as a whole. But using certain applications, ex. above, have been running insanely slowly, and freezeframing. I reset my laptop while keeping my files, then after no change to my issue, I compleely factory reset it. Still not working. Certain applications run as if they are breaking my laptop, and are practically unusable.(After about 10 times of task managering and ending tasks, and reopening the application for the 1002820th time would end up fixing the problem, but I don't exactly want to open paint.net 28 times everytime I want to use it.) Does ANYONE have any idea what has happened and how to fix it?

First things I'd check is do a long memory test to see if there are any errors. Best done with a bootable USB drive with something like Memtest 86+. Secondly I'd check your fans to see if they are functioning prooperly. Check the temps of the cpu and or gpu.
