hp dw1080nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm buying a new laptop and recently I've found this model of laptop from HP named "dw1080nl" and I wonder if this PC has some possibilities in upgrading the components like SSD capacity, RAM upgrade(and his maximum) and extra slot for and extra SSD, like 2.5' .

Anyone has some documents or user manual for this PC?

Hi:

You can upgrade the memory, and you can replace the 512 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB one.

Regarding adding extra storage...there may be a place for the 2.5" drive but the parts you need to add it are most likely not there and trying to find the parts you need to add the 2.5" drive will be difficult if not impossible.

Below is the link to the user guides page which has the service manual.

The problem is the manual is outdated, and is for the older models with the 8th gen core processors, so the memory upgrade information may be outdated.

Your notebook uses DDR4-2666 MHz memory and according to the Crucial memory report, you can install up to 2 x 32 GB of memory, and the service manual for the older models indicate the max is 2 x 8 GB.

But again, that was for the older processors.

If you look at chapter 3 of the manual, you can see the additional parts needed to add a 2.5" drive.

It will be much easier and probably cheaper to just buy a larger capacity NVMe SSD.
