Pavilion 17-F263NG
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Is there a guide to replace the CMOS battery on a HP Pavilion 17-F263NG?  Checked a few online guides and cannot find one for this particular model.

On the Pavilion 17-F263NG there are no screws (Pic 1) which is unlike other HP Pavilion models. The top bezel Pic 2 (keyboard) appears to be a brushed metal and there is virtually no gap to prise the bezel off. Is there an easy way to remove this bezel?hp1.jpghp2.jpg

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found out that your computer is built with a sealed battery and base, therefore, removing back cover or battery is not possible.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
