I am a System Administrator and I need to change the book disk of a Probook 450 G10. The Probook has a 500 Gb SSD Disk but that capacity is not enough. At least we need 1 Tb. The seller offered us a HP EX900,1 Tb, PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.3 disk, to replace the boot disk. Reading the Maintenance and Service Guide for Probook 450 G10, it saids a 1 TB, PCIe-4 × 4, TLC, M.2 2280 is supported. I would like to know if the disk offered is suitable to change the laptop disk

Hi:
It would work but it a PCIe 4 x 4 drive would be faster.
According to the service manual, this is the part number for the 1 TB PCIe 4 x 4 drive HP offered in the model series:
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
1 TB, PCIe, TLC, PCIe-4×4, 2280 M16560-001
HP M16560-001 - 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe 4.0 Solid State Drive - Drive Solutions
I recommend using a retail model NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 990 Pro which has a 5-year warranty.
