Hi to all I have HP Elitebook 8470p laptop in which 4GB Ram and 500 GB harddisk my laptop is very slow i think its the reason of 4gb Ram I want to upgrade its Ram to 8 or 16 GB to fast the speed of this laptop please help me what should I do isn't it a good idea to change the Ram of this laptop for fast speed waiting for your replies

Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.
16 GB would most likely make a significant improvement over the existing 4 GB of memory.
Here is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook. If you can get this memory in Pakistan, that would be your best option.

Another upgrade you can do would be to replace the 2.5" 500 GB mechanical hard drive, with a better performing 2.5" 500 GB solid state drive (SSD).
