Hello. I have a HDD Hitachi Travelstar 5K750 750GB-TRL 305 and I want to get Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB. Can I change my current HDD to this SSD? Can I have them both on at the same time?

Thanks.

You can replace the Hitachi TravelstartHDD with the Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSD (2.5" notebook format).

You won't be able to put both in the notebook.

Thanks for the answer. Can I learn if I can change to Samsung 500 GB 970 EVO MZ-V7E500BW too?

HP Recommended

Changing to a Samsung 970 EVO MZ-V7E500BW is most likely not going to be an option since your notebook requires the SATA SSD interface.

NVMe is the interface that the Samsung EVO 970 series has so it won't be recognized by the BIOS.
