Microsoft Windows 11

So I upgraded from 8GB ram to 16 Gb ram. After I replace it, the laptop stuck on blank display. If I use 1 old ram with 1 new ram, it will count as 12GB ram which is perfectly normal. But it doesn’t work when I do 8x2 3200mhz

Please give us details. The exact model number of the laptop and then identify the original memory and the memory you tried to add. In these kinds of situations, the problem is almost always the use of "performance" or "gaming" memory with aggressive timings that the HP motherboard just does not like.

Hello, hi. Thank you for responding. My laptop is exactly HP Pavilion 15-cs3xxx with intel i5-1035G1 Processor with GPU MX250 + 4x2GB memory 2667 mhz. I changed the ram into single 8GB 3200 mhz Corsair Vengeance & it doesn’t work. It only works if there’s 4GB 2667 as second slot ram.

See I called it. Corsair Vengeance is performance or gaming memory. Get standard OEM memory. Crucial Samsung, Hynix. It works with the original memory because the other memory forces the Corsair to time itself at the right specs. Left alone the timings are too aggressive and the HP notebook can't handle it.
