Hi, I would like to swap the HDD with a Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SATA III SSD, In the manual it says the single hard drive config can be 2TB 5400RPM, is it also applied for SSD?

There is no size limit on the SSD other than your budget. I have seen 4 TB SSDs that cost nearly $2000. You could use one of those if you wish. There is no spin speed on SSDs either obviously. 2 TB is the largest mechanical hard drive for laptops right now. If there were a higher capacity hard drive of the correct thickness you could also install one of those.

Sorry two more questions, about the M.2 SSD can I use 250GB instead of 256GB?  And does it support PCIe NVMe interface?

Here is the Service Manual. To answer: yes and no. A 250 gig is fine but the laptop does not support PCIe/NVME disks.

Page 38 shows where the M.2 slot is located; to the right of the memory modules.

Thanks again!
