I had to change the SSD for my HP Spectre x360 13-aw2000nf

I have replaced it by a KINGSTON NV2

I created a USB bootable key through windows media creation tool

All works fine but at one point when installing windows it always stops at 1% with the error 0x80070025D: Windows cant install the requested files.

I have tried several times with different USB keys but still stuck at the same point...

Any help would be very welcome.

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if installing the storage controller driver at the point where the installation process asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows?'

 

Please see the instructions I posted at the link below for how to do that.

Thanks this driver was really helpful.

Also I had to change the USB key I made for the bootable key.

It couldnt install Windows with it. Fortunately with another one that worked for some reason...
