HP Envy x360 Convertible 15-ee0004nn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Envy x360 Convertible 15-ee0004nn laptop (https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c06956206) which charges through an AC smart pin. However it also has a Thunderbolt USB type-C port referred to as "SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)."

I know this port can charge my phone, but can this port ALSO be used to charge the laptop through a wall charger or a PD power bank?

Hello @keith187,

Yes, you can use a USB-C power adapter to charge the laptop.

Note that mobile device USB-C chargers will usually only support around 15W while your laptop needs 65W so you will most likely need to purchase a separate USB-C power adapter that supports at least 60W.

Kind regards,

Eddy
