The series uses the following chargers
- 65 W AC adapter, nPFC, S-3P, 4.5 mm part # 710412-001
- 65 W AC adapter, nPFC, SMART, RC, 4.5 mm, EM part # 913691-850
- 45 W AC adapter, nPFC, SMART, RC, 4.5 mm, non-slim part # 741727-001
- 45 W AC adapter, nPFC, SMART, RC, 4.5 mm, 2P part # 742436-001
Depending on options on your machine, it uses one of the above chargers/AC adapters. To be sure, you have to pick a 65W charger and part # 710412-001 is the right candidate.
You also need a C5 power cord from wall to charger part # L19358-001 for 1m or part # L19358-002 for 1.8m. You can order from HP. Jaycar can supply a standard cord in Australia for you.
If you wish to be sure, very sure please post back what is the model/product of your Probook 640 G4 ?
Regards.
