HP OMEN 15

Hi,

So basically I have a HP OMEN 15 gaming laptop that I bought in September and randomly today, I noticed it wasn't charging despite the fact that my charger was pluged in properly. I gave it a little touch and it started charging again and certain positions don't seem to work. I then tried to take it out and noticed straight away it was really stiff and I struggled to take it out and put it back in. I'm a bit worried about this as I don't want the laptop to break and i'm not sure if I should try and find a new charger or if I should ask for it to be repaired (not sure if this is part of the warranty?). Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I appreciate your efforts to try and isolate the issue. this sounds like hardware related issue with the power port or ac adapter and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

And, also If possible, try an alternate charger..

Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
