Charging Battery

Charger connected but battery not charging and now its off . Battery is unremovable for my lappy.

What is your Envy machine ? I have not heard unrecoverable battery. Please try

HERE’S A SOLUTION for “battery plugged in not charging” found on a HP support page. After spending countless hours doing battery checks, disabling and looking for driver updates, removing battery and AC adapter and pressing power button to drain computer power, the works, including buying a new battery to no avail. Did a test on the AC Adapter with HP Hardware Diagnostics software and it resulted on “Smart adapter is not working correctly” and “AC adapter not functioning”.

SOLUTION:  

Check the inside plug/connector to laptop and make sure the PIN inside of it isn’t BENT or missing. Mine was bent. I carefully straightened it with the tip of a nail scissors and VOILA! Instantly FIXED!

Hello Team !

I am using HP ENVY x360 - 15t Touch Laptop with  Intel® Core™ i7-8550U (1.8 GHz, up to 4 GHz, 8 MB cache, 4 cores) + Intel® HD Graphics 620 and 16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 16 GB).

It was working as expected from last two years, last week when I plugged in charger but it didn't take, there is no symbol of charging (at that time there is 12% battery in it). I thought of restarting Laptop will fix my issue, then restarted . When I tried to power on by pressing power button at left top corner , still it is not ON but at charging port there is one orange light blinking when I press power button. Please do needful.
