HP ENVY m7 Notebook

My charger connects and disconnects repeatedly, the red/orange indicator goes on and off and regular intervals which differ each time I put the charger in. I used another HP charger from an older laptop I had and it charged continuously without disconnecting but the only problem was that as soon as I plugged it in I got a message by HP saying that " The Smart AC Adapter will power your computer, but potentially at a reduced performance level" which indeed was the case. This problem seems to be growing prominent by the day. I have also noticed that the faulty charger will charge continuously if I hold the plug at a certain angle with a certain pressure but I don't want to do that because I cant hold it all day and I will end up loosening the charging port/jack which I know is not loose already because if it was the other charger i mentioned using would also disconnect. What shall I do?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

This is an issue with the AC Adapter since you need to wiggle it at certain angle to work and the other charger doesn't have such issues
