Hi everyone i purchase a used laptop from a seller its running smoothly but facing some battery issue. 1st i thought maybe the battery is bad but i get 4hr plus battery timing now the issue is battery is charging normally but whn reach 73 % the recharging process very slow and and the charging light right next to the charging pin start blinking orange and white and the recharging time is like 1% in 20 minutes but mostly connected but not charging. This thing i mostly found whn this whole thing start happening kindly please someone guide me?

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP ENVY Ultrabook. I understand that you are getting battery not charging issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

 

Run the UEFI PC Diagnostic component test for the battery to check for hardware failures.

 

Power button --> immediately tap the Esc key --> when the startup menu is invoked, press F2 to select the UEFI PC Diagnostics and then choose component test --> Battery.

 

Remove and reset the battery.

Click here and refer page no.43 in the service guide.
