Hello everyone. I am using HP 14-F1000 and I am planning to buy a 45W GAN charger to charge my laptop via USB-C instead of using the default AC adapter. I want to know if that will work or not.

What is your 14-f1000 (2L1B0AV) machine ? It could be one of the following over 100 machines:
https://support.hp.com/lt-en/product/product-specs/hp-14-inch-laptop-pc-14-f1000/model/2100376540
For example: HP Laptop 14s-fq1098AU
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
Short answer is NO, you can't not use USB-C chargers to charge your machine.
Regards..
