Hi, I want to check some HP laptops for which country they originally sold to.

I found this country code list: https://www.hpcfactor.com/support/cesd/200094/hewlett_packard_keyboard_layout_language_and_localisat...

But the problem is, some laptops don't have #xxx after the product number.

Is it possible to identify the country from serial number/UUID/board ID/board CT/build ID/feature byte, etc?

I found strings like "#SABA#DABA" after build ID, is that the same as a simple ABA suffix(meaning USA)? Thanks.

Hi:

If you can get into Windows, run the Windows system information app and on the System SKU line should be a product number that looks like what it should be...for example:  3F607UA#ABA.
