hi, my problem is, i try extracting file programs and installing them into my pc, but it'll say checksum error. I've tried updating my bios to latest, upgrading internal RAM, changing HDD and even tried increasing the paging, but still the problem persists. Sometimes the program installs and works perfectly on the first launch but when i hit quit/exit the program will no longer open.Tried sfc scannow and multiple antiviruses, they all detailed everything is perfect. What do l do please help

" checksum error" or means that the download or the extraction is bad.
Try a different extraction utility.
You can download the file(s) using another PC/laptop from a different source to a USB flash drive to see if you have a better result.

Hey, Erico. I've tried downloading and extracting in a different pc and transferring to the pc but the program runs at first launch only. The next time i try to reopen the program it looks as if it has crashed but no error will be displayed.

" i try extracting file programs"
What is the program.?
Do other programs work?
If they do, the issue is with the program, not the operating system or the PC hardware.
When I had problems in the past with my Steam games, I have gone to the Steam community forum to see if others are having the same issue.
Often I found that was the case.
In the user and Steam support system found remedies for the problem I faced with the installation or program itself.

It would seem that you have picked up some malware.
Are you not using any internet protection?
