Hello , I am fresh out of university and about to start a new job which I will do online from home. I need to buy laptop but I'm on a budget. I have narrowed it down to :
HP 250 G8 (Asteroid silver) Full HD, Intel i5-1035G1, 12GB, 256GB SSD (2E9H4EA/12GB // Win 10 Pro)
vs
HP 15-DY1051WM NOTEBOOK 15.6" HD I5-1035G1 1GHZ 8GB RAM 256GB SSD WIN 10 HOME NATURAL SILVER.
I believe difference is small but I would still like a professional opinion. Job does not require anything more advanced then this but I would like some insight on the two models and which is more suited for what. Thank you

Hi:
The 250 G8 is an entry model business class notebook and may be more suited for your needs if you are going to use it for work.
Your job may require logging into a corporate domain which requires W10 Pro.
Upgrading from W10 Home to W10 Pro, if you find out you need to have W10 Pro, would cost $99.00 USD.
So unless the 250 G8 is way more expensive than the 15-DY1051WM, I would go with the G8.
The 250 G8 also has a FHD display and more memory.
The 15-DY1051wm has a lower resolution display (1366 x 768).

Personally, I would advise you to take some time
compare several models!
The two cities, we each have an advantage, or a disadvantage
8 GB of ram it can be very little 12 it works, but 16gb would be comfortable
The 250gb SSD, depending on what you are going to install, how much space you need, may be quite low
Either a bigger SSD, or a combination of 250 SSD and mini 500gb HDD (for example) might be more suitable, otherwise you need an External Hard Drive!
The processor here, seems to me very efficient, indicated 1 ghz
not very well rated on some sites anyway!
