So my options are as follows. an HP 650 G3 with an Intel Core i7-7820HQ, a 745 G6 with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U APU, and a 735 G6 with an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 3700U APU. These are the laptops that are within my budget now that I could find, other options had core i5-8250u's and similar processors which are not fit for my usage I assume so I narrowed it down to these three.

Now what I want to use the laptop for is software development (mainly working on projects using Python and making some programs that involve AI) and light gaming (the games I play are mainly league of legends, half life one and two, and maybe some Valorant or cs go). I'm currently using a Lenovo Thinkpad L540 and I need an upgrade but mostly because the laptop's keyboard broke and I think it's my sign to get an upgrade.

My priorities are for my workflow to be as fast as possible which I think all machines achieve. And also to be able to play the games I play while on Discord calls maybe sometimes sharing my screen smoothly. Also, I want the laptop to not break my back because I had to carry my old one every where and it was simply too heavy

The RAM and storage configurations are almost as important as the CPU but I assume all these have at least 16 gigs RAM and a solid state drive with at least 500 gb of storage. If you want lightweight go with the 735 G6 which is a 13.3 inch screen. The Ryzen 7 Pro is also the newest and most powerful CPU of the models you ask about. The 7th gen i7 will run a bit cooler and draw a bit less power so better battery life.
