Product: HP 11 EE G8 Chromebook
Operating System: Chrome OS

We have several HP 11 EE G8 chromebooks that get very hot. Even when they are not in use, and not being charged, the back of the unit is very hot. It's like the thermal patch on the motherboard is not effective. When we disconnect the battery is cools down.  I'm confused, is this a motherboard issue or a battery issue?
