Chromebook not charging

I recently haven't charged my chromebook in about 3 days. (I haven't been using it much during those past few days.) It got to a point where it reached 0% and it shut down but there is still a blinking white light on the right side. But when I try to charge it, it doesn't charge. I've tried hard resetting but it still doesn't do anything and it just remains dead with a white light blinking beside the charging port. Does anyone know how to fix this?
