When I try to charge my HP chromebook it appears with a message saying low power charger connected. I have bought a new charger but I still have the issue. The laptop charges but it will take days to get to 100%. It is also so slow at charging that it will not charge when I am using it.
Any help appreciated!

It always helps if you provide specific identification of an HP product. " HP chromebook" is seriously too generic.
Take a look on the bottom of your Chromebook and provide the product name and product number that is there.
Did you purchase the exact same charger that the Chromebook was delivered with?
