Hi @Asaduzzaman2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If pressing the F1 key is not working to clear the TPM on your HP laptop, there are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Steps to Clear TPM:

Check Keyboard Functionality:

  • Ensure the keyboard is properly connected and functional. Try using an external keyboard to see if the F1 key works.

Enter BIOS/UEFI Settings:

  • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the appropriate key during startup (commonly Esc, F2, F10, or Delete).
  • Navigate to the security settings section where the TPM settings are located.

Clear TPM from BIOS/UEFI:

  • Look for an option related to TPM, which might be listed under Security, Trusted Computing, or similar sections.
  • Find and select the option to clear the TPM.
  • Save and exit the BIOS/UEFI settings. Your computer should restart and complete the TPM clearing process.

Update BIOS/UEFI:

  • If you are still unable to clear the TPM, updating your BIOS/UEFI firmware to the latest version might resolve the issue. Visit the HP Support website, download the latest BIOS update for your laptop model, and follow the instructions to update.

Troubleshoot Boot Process:

  • Ensure there are no connected peripherals (USB drives, external hard drives) that might be causing boot issues.
  • Try booting into Safe Mode or using Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) to access the TPM settings.

Reset BIOS/UEFI to Default Settings:

  • In the BIOS/UEFI settings, find the option to reset to default settings. This can sometimes resolve issues related to key presses not being recognized.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
