Hello. After I updated the drivers from nvidia, I got error 43 in the device manager. Also, my 4070 laptop video card disappeared from the task manager. i can only see the built-in amd graphics accelerator. rolling back the driver did not help. Also, any methods I found on YouTube on how to get rid of code 43 did not help. But then on one of the technical forums I found a method that helped. It was necessary to enter the bios and hold the power button to reboot it. This method really helped and the video card was available again. Before I found it, I wrote to nvidia support, they advised me to reinstall the drivers. and after that didn't help, they said that the video card was probably damaged and it wasn't the software. But two days ago, the GPU disappeared from the task manager again and got a code 43. I tried the above method with the bios, but it didn't help. discharging the CMOS battery didn't help either. Reinstalling the hp and nvidia drivers did not help either.

Hello, so the problem is maybe solved, but in different way. I tried your method, but it doesn't help. But then I remembered that i turn off battery in device manager to power my laptop from adapter without battery, like desktop. I turned battery on, and rebooted bios. And after that gpu showed up! But there is another mini problem: every time when i turn on my laptop it boots up but its completely dark. I can hear sound of booting but display is still dark, unless i close and open my laptop lid. Cntrl + win + shift + b hotkey doesn't help. What should I do?

Were you able to perform a recovery using the Cloud recovery tool?

Take care and have a great day ahead!
