Hi, I write from Italy.
Yesterday I recived my hp spectre x360 and I have to admit that it's a wonderful machine: powerful and refined.
I'm still testing and everything looks fine except an issue: when I pick the backlight button of the keyboard, it starts a coil whine that si very light, but noisy when I m alone.
Please, tell me I don t have to return the 2 in 1. I love it!
Regards and wait for you
Is there a way to simply solve the problem?
Translation.

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I see from your post that you are having issues with the new laptop making a coil whining noise. Don't worry we're here to help you.
In this scenario, I would suggest here is to update the Bios on your computer either from our HP support website, using this link(Drivers are available only for Windows 10 (64-bit) or you can try to update using HP Support Assistant.
Download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant. Once done, restart the computer and check.
If the issue still persists, I would suggest here is to run an extensive system diagnostics test from F2(Please remember to capture the failure ID for further assistance).
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Eagerly waiting for your response!
that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,
