Ok. Originally I am also from Northern Ireland, however have been living in Italy for the last 20 years.
Anyway, the part number for the ac adapter is 693711-001 which you can see on page 24 of service manual for your notebook.

You can perform online search with part number and find quite easily, compatible or original.
Example:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=+693711-001
You could also buy a 65W universal one from HP online store in the UK.

Hi,
Can you please provide the exact model of the PC, there are many cq58 series and even more models. Here is link to HP support page showing how to find it:
