CQ58-280SR

Hello everyone, I want to make a gift for my Mom. Upgrading her computer!
There is a computer Hp Compaq CQ58-280SR, intel i3-2328M, Socket 988B rPGA, Chipset HM75.

Can i update i3 to i5 3340M or 3380M. Processors have the same size and chipset support (HM75).

The only difference is PCI Express 2 (chipset)|PCI Express 3 (processor)Will they work fine?

I will add that the TDP(35W) and Bus Speed (5 GT / s DMI) are lonely.

If I can't put the i5, can I try the i3-3120M(3130M) or 3110M?

Thank you very much for the answers!

I no longer know where to ask.

(Sorry for my English!)

1)Thanks for the answer, except that I will buy a new SSD and RAM.
The main thing for me is whether the processor will work.

Get her a solid state drive instead would be my advice. But it will take up to an i5-3230M:
