Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi

I got the above laptop form, my friend, recently and I managed to install Windows 7 .32 sp1 and installed all the drivers. The Bios battery was dead and replaced with aftermarket battery - cr2032. everything looks fine. however, 2 days ago I noticed it take more time to switch bios screen to boot loader. I checked by disconnecting the keyboard, changing the RAM ...etc .

is there any posibility to change the  boot order automatically ? i noticed this issue today,  and I have disabled all other drivers and leave HDD only .can this happen?

Thank you

Chirath

@chirath Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that boot order is changing for Compaq Presario V3000.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please perform the Restore the default BIOS settings.

This enables Secure Boot and sets the Windows Boot Manager as the primary boot device.

  1. Turn on the computer and immediately press the F10 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the HP Computer Setup opens.

  2. Under the Main menu, use the down arrow key to select Restore Defaults.

    Figure : Restore Defaults

  3. Select Yes to load the default settings.
