My lap is Compaq Presario CQ61-205EE and having InsydeH20 F.06 BIOS and date 06/03/2009.My base board manufacture is Quanta and the number shown as 3069 with Intel GL40 Rev:07 and processor socket P478.. My product number is NZ321EA#ABV. Originally installed OS is Vista and I I wanted to upgrade it to Windows 8.1 or 10 32bit or 64bit. After install the those OS not loading. If I am correct I think the problem is with old BIOS. Could anyone help me to find the correct BIOS for this one. Thanks.

Hi:
The last BIOS update HP released for your notebook is F.23. Info link below.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51501-52000/sp51527.html
Exe file:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51501-52000/sp51527.exe
In order to update the BIOS, you will need to have Windows Vista or Windows 7 installed.

Thank you very much for your quick response. These links are forwarded to blank page. Pls give me some advice to fix this too. Is it possible to update the bios update when I ruining windows 8.1 because I have already installed windows 8.1 on this notebook. But there are lot of errors on it.(No sound and some drivers could not install)

You're very welcome.
You have to open the links with Internet explorer.
They work fine if you open them that way and not in Edge.
Since the BIOS updates were written to be run on Windows Vista or Windows 7, I don't know what will happen if you run them on W8.1. They may work fine or they may wreck your notebook completely.
If you do decide the run the exe file, run it in W7 compatibility mode for best results.
A BIOS update won't fix the no sound issue. Your notebook has the IDT audio system which is not supported in W8.1 for your notebook's model series.
You can try this workaround to get the sound to work in W8.1...
Go to the device manager and click to expand the Sound, video and game controllers device category.
1. Select the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC under that category.
2. Select Driver tab.
3. Click the Update Driver button.
4. Select -> Browse my computer for driver software.
5. Select -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
6. Select High Definition Audio Device (Not IDT High Def... this is important.) and click Next.
A warning message may appear, but click Yes.
7. Windows has successfully updated your driver software.
8. Restart the PC.
The key is step 6.
If you don't have the IDT audio device installed, then you can try the W7 driver and then follow the steps above if the sound doesn't work after installing the driver.

Anytime.
Glad to be of assistance.
If you are missing any drivers that W8.1 didn't install, please post the hardware ID's for them and I will see what I can do to help you.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

If you need the Intel graphics driver, let me know. You should be able to manually install the W7 graphics driver so it works on W8.1.
You need the graphics driver if you see a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter listed under the Display adapters device manager category.
