Hi all,
I have 2 questions relative to my next purchases.
First, question of compatibility
I want to buy the laptop HP Envy x360 14-fc0799nz and the dock station hp usb-c dock g5.
I want to know if they are compatible or not. I find many infos, some saying it is and others saying it is not.
And second, which dock station should I buy ?
There exist 2 versions of this dock station, one named hp usb-c dock g5 and the other hp usb-c dock g5 Essential.
Depending on the pages I visit, it is said that one device is only 65W (the Essential one) while others says both are 100W. As I will connect many devices (external drive, keyboard, mouse, external audio (for my sound applications), I think I must choose the 100W version, the laptop itself consuming 65W. But the price is slighty different and I need your advice.
Thank you helping me buy the right materials.
