Hi, I would like to add SATA 3 SSD HDD in addition to OEM supplied 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD. Will this laptop compatible to SATA 3 SSD HDD upgrade?
Many online article says check ACHI for SSD and all. I could not find Peripheral section in BIOS to check whether SCHI is enabled or not. ALso device manager is not showing IDE controller.
Look forward for expert option

You can add 2.5" SATA 3 HDD or SSD to your machine but you need more parts as mentioned on page 37 of the following manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06263217.pdf
Manual also shows you how to add 2.5" HDD/SSD to your machine.
Regards.
