I need tom upgrade my Hp 14-dqoo52dx's RAM to 8gb and need to get a i5 or higher Intel Core chip to run music apps. What products are compatible? And is the laptop I have able to be upgraded?

Hi:
Your notebook's processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC
I also don't believe that the notebooks that come with the Intel® Celeron® N4120 processors have no fan, so in addition to the motherboard, you would need to buy the correct heatsink and the fan that cools the Intel Core processors.
All in all, it would cost you more to do such an upgrade than to buy a new notebook with the hardware specs you require.
You can upgrade the memory, but you will need to remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with an 8 GB memory chip, since there is only one memory slot.

I was thinking this would be the case seeing how it was very inexpensive. My old one has a Pentium Gold and operates much better than this HP. I thought all parts were individually upgradeable. I likely will either be returning it or selling it for one that meets my needs.
