I want to upgrade the memory on my HP EliteBook 850 G3 (product number L3D24AV) from 1 x8GB to 2x8GB. I am looking at Crucial brand products. On Amazon, I see ‎CT2K8G4DFS824A, which is DDR4 2400 MHz CL17, but the Crucial website says this is not compatible. They want me to buy ‎CT2K8G4SFS824A from their website, which is much more expensive. The specifications of the two products seem identical. Is the Amazon product in fact compatible with my laptop?

No, I bought from Crucial specs at CPL but it did not work I had to use model/product from existing 8GB and order from Amazon and my machine is OK with 16GB now. I could not return to CPL.
