I want to purchase new m. 2 ssd but I am unable to detect compatibility so how can I know my laptop compatibility for ssd

I understand you would like to know if you can use a m.2 SSD on the Notebook. However, this model does not support a m.2 SSD. It only supports 6.35-cm (2.5-in) hard drives in 9.5-mm (. 37-in) and 7.0-mm (.28-in) thicknesses (all hard drives use the same bracket)

Kindly refer to page 4 of the service guide for more info.
